How to post pictures on your blog

Do you need help with posting pictures on your blog? This is an easy step by step tutorial on how to post pictures on your blogger blog! 1. Click on 'New Post' and it will take you to the 'Posting' page. Type in the title you want for the post. Then type what you want to say on the post. You will then click on the ‘insert image’ tab.

2. It will take you to a page to upload your photos. Click Browse and find the folder on your computer with your pictures in it. You can upload all the pictures that you want to go on this post. I uploaded 4 pictures. Once they are uploaded, click on the first picture you want and then click ‘ok.’

3. Now you are back to your post page and a box will pop up that lets you change the picture size, center the picture or remove the picture.

You can also click on ‘add a caption’ and type underneath the picture. I decided to make this picture X-Large and type words under the picture.

4. Next you will click on the little ‘insert image’ tab again and click on the next picture you want to upload and click ok (step 1). You can add a caption to this picture and adjust the size. Repeat these steps until all the pictures are uploaded. You can drag the pictures to different spots and play around with it. I made these pictures small and added captions under each picture. For my family blog I like to make them large or X-Large(this makes the images nice for when you turn your blog into a book!)

5. You can highlight the text and change the color, size and font.

6. You can label the post. So, you are thinking why would you want to label the post? Some people will have a ‘label cloud’ on their sidebar and its nice to keep all your posts organized. Click here to see how to apply the label cloud to your blog. Don’t get overwhelmed it is really easy!!

7. You are now ready to publish your post! Click ‘Publish Post’. Click ‘view blog’. Yay!! You did it!

Now, to make your blog super cute!! Click on ‘design’ on the upper right corner. Go to our site and click on ‘backgrounds’ and then 'blogger’. Scroll through the backgrounds or use the categories on the right until you find the one perfect for you.

Follow the directions and copy the code! You now have The Cutest Blog on the Block(-;!!

If you would like to get creative….go back to your design page. Click on ‘template designer-new!’ Click on ‘Layout’ and ‘adjust width’. You can play around with the width of the entire blog and also the width of your sidebar. Click ‘apply to blog’ in the upper right hand corner when you are finished.
