Hello! I’m Ashley!
I have a husband who is tall dark and handsome, and two smart adorable towhead children. I love my family. I am also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. For more info on my religion, visit lds.org.
I have to say I feel so overwhelmed with gratitude when I think about how far The Cutest Blog on the Block has come. It all started with teensy tiny idea that kept nagging at me until I couldn’t ignore it anymore. So I took the first step of making my small idea into a reality. What happened next was totally and completely unexpected. Thanks to all of you, this has snowballed into something…well…special! I feel happy every day to have the responsibility of helping your blogs to look cute! I LOVE the people I work with. There’s nothing they can’t do! Thanks for enjoying the ride with us! XOXO! Can I just say I have the most fabulous job in the world?! I don't know if I can consider it work when I LOVE what I do! I enjoy working with Ashley and the rest of our team. I love being a graphic designer and being creative. I even enjoy the paper work/technical side of the business:) My amazing husband and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary. We've been blessed with 2 boys and a little princess! My passions in life are: my family, my faith (LDS), traveling, sports/working out, camping & anything and everything outdoors! I have two beautiful little girls, Gianna(2) and Brichelle(7months)! They keep me on my toes all day and night! They are a full time job but I am happy to put in overtime with them! And I have been married for a little over 3 years to my best friend who I met while attending college as a Theatre major. I love the arts but I traded show biz for motherhood and have LOVED it! I love working with Becky and Ashley and all of our extremely talented design staff! I am so lucky to learn from and with them as we attempt to conquer the digital frontier(of Blogging at least) and bring cute custom designs to the fans of TCBOTB.
Meet Tenille (Lead Designer)
Hi there! My name is Tenille (pleased to meet you!) and i am a custom blog designer for this fabulous site! Here is a little randomness about me if you're curious ;0) I am in my twenties and live in Northern CA with my awesome husband! We had our first little one in May 2010 (his name is Easton) and hes been filling our lives with joy and craziness ever since! ;0) Before having Easton, i worked as a hairdresser full time and loved it! Now i am proud to be a full time mommy! Being a mommy is the best/hardest job ive ever had! I started designing blogs a few years ago...i am 100% self taught and love making blogs look fabulous! I love being crafty and doing anything that involves being creative including sewing, photography, digital scrapbooking, crocheting, blog designing, painting, decorating and lots more! I'm also quite the tomboy..i love doing anything outdoors! Fly-fishing, hiking, boating, camping (just to name a few ;0) I love my faith (LDS) and my family! Anywho, that's me in a nutshell! :0)
Meet Alicia (Custom Designer)
Where to begin .. I am a full-time Mom and part-time designer/creator/entrepreneur. I love spending time with my kiddos and sweet hubby Sam. I have 3 wonderful children, Jeron (6), Jocelyn (4) and Braxton (2) and another one on the way! I really enjoy being able to design and create. I received my Associates in Graphic Design from "Ricks College" then stayed on when it converted to BYU-Idaho to earn my Bachelor's in Art Education, and I love being able to put that to use working for TCBOTB! When time and circumstances allow, I also enjoy doing my own side business, Alicia Alee Design, creating Hair Accessories and a pluthera of other things :) The two most important things in my life are family and church - I love being a member of the LDS Church (commonly known as "Mormons") and it is a very important part of my life. My other interests include photography, fine arts, writing, music, dance, sports, and outdoors and I try to include as many of these as possible in any spare (does that really exist? ;) time!
Meet Jenn (Custom Designer)
I was born in SLC, UT and haven’t left. I am the girliest of girls, but love a great football game! I have been married for 5 ½ years and we are thrilled to welcome our first baby in August. I am a hairstylist and love that I am able to use my creativity in other areas of life. I fell in love with design when I began to design my own blog. From there I’ve spent endless hours teaching myself the in’s and out’s of design. It has become a sincere passion of mine and I feel so lucky to be a party of the TCBOTB team!
Meet Nikki (Wordpress Pro)
I was born in Utah, met my husband in a chatroom 13 years ago, we got married and moved to MD, then back to UT, and then moved to Seattle for Microsoft. In 7 years of trying we lost 7 babies and then finally had our twin boys via IVF. They are 5, all-boy and about to start kindergarten, yikes! We bought our first house last year and are still trying to make it our own. I love trying to be creative. I love making cakes (thank you TLC) and just started selling Avon to try and make a bit to make those ends meet. I’m so lucky that the amazing girls of TCBOTB took a chance on me and let me convert templates for them! I just love this team!
Meet Jennifer (Animation specialist for Blogamation.com)
I love to say that I am a small town girl but rockin' this big city! I grew up on a farm in Payson, AZ fulfilling your classic middle child role (not the peace maker role like Ashley but the to loud attention addict one) I have calmed down extremely since those days, trust me! I went to ASU and majored in Visual Communication Design which was scary seeing as how I didn't even have an email address until college...farm girl remember.
I have worked around the world doing all different types of design. Including but not limited to Experimental Interactive Design Germany and Flash Design in Singapore. Flash is my current passion and why I love working with The Cutest Blog on the Block so much! The animations they want are so cute and I would never get to work on them otherwise! I am also an amateur boxer. I started about a year ago and will compete in my first official fight very soon! I did it to get in shape and now I just do it because I love it!
The bast man in the world just asked me to marry him and I am excited to leave the single world behind and start a family!
Between planning a wedding, training and designing cute things all the time I am a busy lady but could never be happier! Way to go for reading all of that :) and I hope you enjoy the animations!
Meet Christine (Custom Card Designer)
Hello! Let me introduce myself. My name is Christine, and I am one of the fabulous designers of The Cutest Blog on the Block! I reside in a cute apartment in the heart of Brooklyn, New York with my fiance EJ. He is my best friend, partner, and the love of my life. I love to cook/bake, decorate my home for the holidays, do arts and crafts, sing like no ones watching, and hunt for the best bargains at thrift stores! I studied Massage Therapy for about 2 years, and then found my calling as a graphic designer. I enjoy graphic designing because it gets me lost in the moment! I believe sometimes, it's necessary to find an escape and graphic designing does just that!
